Belize: Lamanai Ruins

Lamanai means “Submerged Crocodile” in Yucatec Maya. The Lamanai ruins are located in Belize, Orange Walk Town district.


This view is from the High Temple (33 meters) and you can see New River Lagoon nearby, which is the most usual traffic route for getting here.
