Totally agree with this, there really isn't enough time in the day. I've spent way too much time procrastinating over the internet when I should be doing something more productive. AddictingFlashArcadeGames.com has me hooked :(

Woooooow, so cool! ;-) Thanks a lot for the links. I tweeted about you and I'll also link you later. Actually "to scurry" means "cup" in Czech. That's cup with a C, not an S. Sup is a "vulture", a bird. Check this out http://www.google.com/dictionary?source=translation&hl=en&q=sup&langpair=cs|en

My post is up and I emailed the museum in Mexico to see if they'll tell me about the book - hadn't used my rusty Spanish in years -
btw, my last name is Czech - Sup - maybe Americanized - but my husband's family is from there. His father told me the name means "to scurry".

I just subscribed to your blog too -

I'll take your photo right from Flickr because that way there is a backlink to your Flickr page and also an attribution to you right with the photo. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your comment! Yes, go ahead and use the photo! In fact, I’d be glad if you did! You have an interesting blog, I’m subscribing now!

A direct link to the image is here http://www.flickr.com/photos/wrsi/3480888711/in/set-72157613823738427/ The photo is published under Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike licence (info here (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/2.0/deed.en). You are ok to share the image. I only ask is that you don’t use it for commercial purposes and that you give me an attribution (a link with my name to the photo page is fine).

I don’t have any information about the book, unfortunately. My spanish is not so good so I couldn’t read the descriptions properly in the Museum and only some of them were in English. I couldn’t take pics of the descriptions as my memory cards were full after a month in Mexico. If you find more info about the book, please let me know. I’ll update the info on my blog and put a link to your site.

I like your blog - great idea on failure being the way to succeed - that's awesome.

I had a question to ask you about your photo on Flickr of the Ancient Maya book from the Mexico City museum. I'd like to use it in my blog. Would that be OK? Could you tell me more about it? The book is fanned out so it is acordion-style. Is it a replica, do you think, or is it really one of the few Mayan books that remained after the Spanish burned so many?
