The place where Earth meets the sky — Strokkur geyser, Haukadalur valley, Iceland

Here’s an eruption of the Strokkur geyser which can be found only about 50 meters from the big Geysir which gave the name to all geysers around the world. These days, unfortunately, the eruptions of Geysir are very infrequent so visitors appreciate Strokkur’s frequent eruptions that happen approximately once every five minutes. I think the cloud above allowed me to add a nice contrast to the picture.
